Jolanta Lazuga-Koczurowska

President of the Polish Federation of Therapeutic Communities, clinical psychologist, certified specialist in addiction psychotherapy, supervisor, creator of therapeutic, prevention and training programs, chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the MONAR Association from 2002 to 2017.

She graduated from A. Mickiewicz University in Poznan, was a scholarship holder at Massachussetts University (USA), holds a certificate as an addiction therapy specialist from the University of San Diego (California, USA), and cooperates with the Council of Europe. She teaches at the University of Gdansk. She is the founder and leader of the first rehabilitation center in Poland for children and adolescents at risk of addiction and addicted in Gdansk, a member of the Committee for Counteracting Drug Addiction at the Prime Minister of the Polish Government, an expert and a member of the Certification Commission at the National Bureau for Counteracting Drug Addiction. Author of more than 100 publications in the field of addiction therapy and prevention, as well as numerous papers and presentations given at symposia and conferences around the world. Awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland with the Knight's Cross of the Order of Rebirth of Poland.
